Words Of Love

(Kelfour’s Landing, back in the day, circa 1993)

{Backstory: The bardess wrote this for the dark mage. It was also something much requested for weddings. ~D.}

Words Of Love

The words of love make a circle complete,
The sacred binding, spoken softly and true.
One heart to another, life’s most precious gift,
And these words are more than “I love you.”

In the elements of love the circle is held fast,
The man, the woman, in each other are made whole.
And no sweeter fate could there be at last,
Than the eternal pull of soul to soul.

In your eyes I see, the flash of fire,
Glowing endlessly, to spark this heart’s desire.
And from this burst of impassioned flame,
The power of Fire is Love’s own Name.

Reach out and touch your hands, so tenderly,
A warm, thrilling dance, rooted deep indeed.
Solid as marble stone and soft as the sands untamed,
The power of Earth is Love’s own Name.

Your voice whispers again, “Love, Love be mine,”
And with each breath begins, a symphony divine.
Blown softly in the air, the sweet magic came,
And made the Power of Wind as Love’s own name.

From your lips the taste, of passion’s wine,
Surely pulses race to Destiny so fine.
The blood of life coursing in each and every vein,
Give the power of Water Love’s own Name.

All around me, the air swirls with each whispered caress,
And in your eyes I see the fiery gleam of desire,
With each touch, know the deepest quiver of earth,
And on your lips is the promise that will quench the fire.

The words of love make a circle complete,
The sacred binding, spoken softly and true.
One heart to another, life’s most precious gift,
And these words are more than “I love you.”

The words of love will be in all you do.
